Invitation for Sri Navadwip Dhama Parikrama and Gaur Purnima Festival, 2025

All glories to His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Goswami Thakur Prabhupada and Guru-parampara.

Please accept the blessings of my beloved Srila Gurudev, His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Pramode Puri Goswami Thakur, and convey the same to all members of your congregation.

It is with great joy and devotion that we invite you to participate in the Sri Navadwip Dhama Parikrama and Gaur Purnima Festival 2025. This sacred celebration will commence on 6th March 2025 and conclude with the 539th Anniversary of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s Avirbhava Mahotsava on 15th March 2025. The events will be held at Sri Mayapur Temple, Sri Gopinath Gaudiya Math, Ishodyan, Nadia, West Bengal, India.

Participating in this festival not only immerses us in the glories of Lord Gauranga but also provides a chance to uplift our spiritual lives through Harinam Sankirtan, holy discourses, and visiting the sacred islands of Navadwip Dhama.

Parikrama and Festival Schedule:

  1. 6th of March, 2025 (Thursday): Parikrama Adhibas (Preparation Day). Constant Chanting of Hare Krishna Mahamantra from Sunrise until Sunset in front of Srila Gurudeva’s Samadhi temple venue.
  2. 7th of March, 2025 (Friday): First Day of Parikrama—Antardvip & Simantadvip Visiting: Sri Chaitanya Gaudiya Math, Nandana Acharya Bhavan, Yoga Pith (Lord Chaitanya’s birth place), Srivas Angan, Murari Gupta’s Sripat, Sri Chaitanya Math, Sardanga, Sridhar Angan, Chand Kazi-Samadhi and Belpukur
  3. 8th of March, 2025 (Saturday): Visiting: Godrum-dvip and Madhya-dvip—Svananda
    Sukhada Kunja, Surabhi Kunja, Suvarna-vihar, Harihar Ksetra, and Nrshimha Pally.
  4. 9th of March, 2025 (Sunday): Visiting : Koladvip, Ritudvip, Jahnudvip and Modadrumdvip— Prauda Maya, Devananda Gaudiya Math, Sri Chaitanya Saraswata Math,
    Samudragarh, Champahati Gaura Gadadhara Mandir, Vidya Nagar, Ritudvip -Radha
    Kunda, Jahnu Muni’s Asram, Mamgachi-Vrindavan Thakur’s Sripat, etc.
  5. 10th of March, 2025 (Monday) Amalaki Ekadasi fasting: Last Day of Parikrama visiting: Simulia (Vriddha Shivalaya), Varkona-Ghat, Mahaprabhu’s Ghat, Jagai-Madhai
    Ghat, Jayadeva’s Sripat (residence), then Rudradvip.
  6. 11 th of March, 2025 (Tuesday): Accordingly, Mangal-Arati; Time of breakfast for Amlaki
    Ekadasi in between periods from 5.55 a.m. till 9.30 a.m. Also, Vaisnavas-Seva festival, according to the order of our beloved Srila Gurudeva, His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Pramode Puri Goswami Thakur, for the disappearance day of Srila Madhavendra Puripada. Festival schedules are as follows: Dharma Sabha from 9.00 a.m. until lunch offering (discourses & Kirtan by different Sanyasi and senior devotees about the glories of our beloved Srila Gurudeva and Madhavendra Puripada).
  7. 12th of March, 2025 (Wednesday): Vising Jajigram (Srinivas Acharya’s place), Kataya
    (Sanyas initiation place of Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Ekachakra (birth place of Lord
    Nityananda). These are the parts of Gaura-Mandala Parikrama.
  8. 13 th of March, 2025 (Thursday) Gaura Purnima’s Adhibas (Gaura Purnima Preparation Day) Nonstop Hare Krishna Mahamantra Samkirtan from sun-rise to sun-set at Srila
    Gurudeva’s Samadhi temple. Lord Krishna’s Fire Festival. Hari-katha program from 10:00 to 12:00 noon; afternoon from 4.00 p.m to 5.00 p.m; accordingly, evening Arati, then night Hari-Katha.
  9. 14th of March, 2025 (Friday): Sri Gaura Purnima festival: Supreme Lord Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu’s Advent-day Celebration (dry fasting till evening, then Ekadasi Prasad)
    and Dol-yatra (coloring festival) of Sri Sri Radha and Krishna. Non-stop chanting the Hare Krishna Mahamantra and reading from Sri Chaitanya Bhagavat from sun rise till sun set. From 5.00 p.m evening, special chanting of Lord Gaura’s advent-pastimes from Sri Chaitanya Charitamrita and congregational Harinam-Sankirtana accompanied by Lord Gauranga’s bathing (Abhisek) ceremony, Puja, and Bhoga-offering, special evening
    Arati on the occasion of Lord Gauranga’s auspicious appearance.
  10. 15th of March, 2025 (Saturday): time of breakfast (parana) from sunrise 5.51 a.m to 9:48 a.m; Sri Jagannath Misra Anandatsava, Grand Feast of Maha Prasadam on the
    occasion of Lord Gaura’s auspicious appearance.
