It is with great joy and devotion that we invite you to participate in the Sri Navadwip Dhama Parikrama and Gaur Purnima Festival 2027. This sacred celebration will commence on 14th March 2027 and conclude with the 541st Anniversary of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s Avirbhava Mahotsava on 22nd March 2027. The events will be held at Sri Mayapur Temple, Sri Gopinath Gaudiya Math, Ishodyan, Nadia, West Bengal, India.

Participating in this festival not only immerses us in the glories of Lord Gauranga but also provides a chance to uplift our spiritual lives through Harinam Sankirtan, holy discourses, and visiting the sacred islands of Navadwip Dhama.

Parikrama and Festival Schedule:

  1. 14th of March, 2027 (Sunday):  Parikrama Adhibas ( Preparation Day). Non-Stop Chanting of the Hare Krishna Mahamantra from Sunrise to Sunset in front of Srila Gurudeva’s Samadhi temple hall.
  2. 15th of March, 2027 (Monday):  First Day of Parikrama – Antardvip & Simantadvip.  Visiting:   Sri Chaitanya Gaudiya Math, Nandana Acharya Bhavan, Yoga Pith (Lord Chaitanya’s birth place), Srivas Angan, Murari Gupta’s Sripat, Sri Chaitanya Math, Sardanga, Sridhar Angan, Chand Kazi-Samadhi and Belpukur.
  3. 16th of March, 2027 (Tuesday): 2ndday Parikrama —  Visiting: Godrum-dvip and Madhya-dvip – Svananda Sukhada Kunja, Surabhi Kunja, Suvarna-vihar, Nrshimha Pally and Harihar Ksetra.
  4. 17th of March, 2027 (Wednesday): 3rd day Parikrama — Visiting : Koladvip, Ritudvip, Jahnudvip and Modadrum-dvip — Prauda Maya, Devananda Gaudiya Math, Samudragarh, Champahati Gaura Gadadhara Mandir, Vidya Nagar, Ritudvip-Radha Kunda, Jahnu Muni’s Ashram, Mamgachi-Vrindavan Thakur’s Sripat etc.
  5. 18th of March, 2027 (Thursday – Amalaki Ekadasi):  Last Day of Parikrama – visiting: Simulia (Vriddha Shivalaya), Varkona-Ghat, Mahaprabhu’s Ghat, Jagai-Madhai-Ghat, Jayadeva’s Sripat (residence) then Rudradvip.  Nrisimha-Yagna (Fire Sacrifice ) from 11.30 a.m. at Mayapur Gopinath temple Samkirtan hall. Non-Stop Hare Krishna Mahamantra sankirtan from Sunset to next day sunrise.
  6. 19th of March, 2027 (Friday—Srila Madhavendra Puripada’s disappearance, Srila Gurudeva, HDG Srila Bhakti Pramode Puri Goswami Thakur’s Sanyas anniversary,  Deities – Sri Sri Gaur-Gadadhara, Sri Sri Radha Gopinath Jiu and Jagannath Deva’s temple inauguration and Lord Nrisimhadeva’s installation ceremony by Srila Gurudeva in 1994.) :  Accordingly Mangal-Arati; Breakfast from 5.48 a.m to 9.46 a.m.; Hari-katha program — from 9.30,a.m to 1.00 p.m; afternoon Harikatha from 4.00 p.m to 5.00 p.m; accordingly evening Arati then night Hari-Katha.
  7. 20th of March, 2027 (Saturday): Accordingly Mangal-Arati; temple circumambulation, Nrisimha Prayer; morning 4.30 a.m start for Fulia, Shantipur, Birnagar (hopefully return to temple 1.00 p.m then launge. Afternoon 4.00 p.m Harikatha-Kirtan then accordingly evening Arati and night Hari-Katha.
  8. 21st of March, 2027 (Sunday): Gaura Purnima’s Adhibas (Gaura Purnima Preparation Day). Nonstop Hare Krishna Mahamantra Sankirtan from sun-rise to sun-set at Srila Gurudeva’s Samadhi temple. Lord Krishna’s Fire-Festival.  Hari-katha program — from 10,00 to 12.00 noon; afternoon from 4.00 p.m; accordingly evening Arati and night Hari-Katha.
  9. 22nd of March, 2027 (Monday): Sri Gaura Purnima festival: Supreme Lord Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu’s 541 Advent-day Celebration (dry fasting till evening then Ekadasi Prasad) and Dol-yatra (coloring festival) of Sri Sri Radha and Krishna. Constant Chanting of Hare Krishna Mahamantra and reading from Sri Chaitanya Bhagavat from Sun-rise till Sun-set 3.30 p.m. start for collecting Ganga-Water with sankirtan team.  From 4.45 p.m special chanting of Lord Gaura’s advent-pastimes from Sri Chaitanya Charitamrita and congregational Harinam-Sankirtana accompanied by Lord Gauranga’s bathing (Abhisek)ceremony, Puja, and Bhoga-offering, special evening arati on the occasion of Lord Gauranga’s auspicious appearance.
  10. 23rd of March, 2027 (Tuesday): time of breakfast (parana) from sunrise 5.44 a.m to 9:44 a.m; Sri Jagannath Misra Anandatsava, Grand Feast of Maha Prasadam on the occasion of Lord Gauranga’s auspicious appearance.
