These ancient yoga teachings have been carefully passed down for centuries through a continuous line of self-realized yoga masters known as parampara (Sanskrit) or disciplic succession.

Sripad Swami Bodhayan is part of the Vaisnava Hinduism or Gaudiya Vaisnavism lineage that recognizes Sri Krishna as the Supreme Lord and original spiritual master, having instructed Arjuna 5,000 years ago with the Bhagavad-Gita, one of its primary yoga scriptures.
